In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring they feel welcomed and valued from the moment they arrive. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables, ensuring a pleasant arrival experience.
• Manage reservations and seating arrangements efficiently to optimize table turnover.
• Provide menus and inform guests about daily specials or promotions.
• Assist with guest inquiries and ensure their needs are met throughout their visit.
• Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
• Handle phone calls with professionalism, taking reservations or answering questions regarding the menu and services.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the host/host area.
• Uphold high standards of guest relations by addressing any concerns or complaints promptly.

Experience

• Previous host/host experience in a restaurant or hotel setting is preferred.
• Background in food service or customer service is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for effective guest interactions.
• Experience in hospitality or guest services will be considered an asset.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
