Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and personable Host to create a welcoming atmosphere for our guests and ensure they have an exceptional experience from the moment they arrive. As the first point of contact, you will be responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, and coordinating seating arrangements. Your enthusiasm and excellent communication skills will set the tone for a memorable visit, making guests feel valued and comfortable throughout their time with us.

Duties

• Warmly greet guests upon arrival with a friendly and professional demeanor, establishing a positive first impression
• Manage reservations and waitlists efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to optimize seating flow
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and smooth guest transitions
• Answer guest inquiries via phone or in person, providing accurate information about menu options, wait times, and restaurant policies
• Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand, ensuring all guest areas are inviting and well-presented
• Handle guest concerns or special requests with patience and professionalism, escalating issues when necessary
• Support team members with guest services, including assisting with seating arrangements during busy periods

Skills

• Proven experience as a host or hostess in a food service or restaurant environment
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with attention to phone etiquette
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is preferred
• Previous experience in hospitality, hotel services, or guest relations is advantageous
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining a positive attitude
• Knowledge of restaurant operations, serving protocols, and guest service standards

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $11.00 - $13.00 per hour
