Responsibilities

• Greet guests with a friendly and positive attitude, providing exceptional guest services from arrival to departure
• Manage restaurant reservations using reservation management systems, ensuring accurate seating arrangements and waitlist updates
• Seat guests promptly and coordinate with the service team to optimize table turnover and guest satisfaction
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to process payments accurately and efficiently
• Answer phone inquiries professionally, providing information about wait times, reservations, and restaurant offerings while practicing proper phone etiquette
• Maintain organized guest flow by managing restaurant table management systems and updating seating charts as needed
• Uphold food safety standards and ensure cleanliness in cashiering areas while delivering excellent hospitality and guest relations

Requirements

• Prior experience as a host/hostess or cashier in a restaurant setting is highly preferred
• Strong knowledge of restaurant reservation management and table management systems (e.g., Aloha POS, Micros POS)
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally both in person and over the phone
• Basic math skills for handling cash transactions, bills, and change accurately
• Demonstrated organizational skills to manage reservations, seating plans, and guest flow efficiently
• Knowledge of food safety practices and hospitality standards to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
• Experience with restaurant POS systems and familiarity with phone etiquette in a customer service context
