As the first point of contact for our guests, you’ll set the tone for their dining experience by providing warm, friendly, and efficient service from the moment they walk through the door.

Location: The SpitJack Rotisserie Brasserie, Bedford Row, Limerick

Job Type: Flexible, Part-Time

Start Date: Immediate or Flexible Start

About the Role:

As a Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for:
Greeting and seating guests with professionalism and warmth.
Managing reservations efficiently via telephone, email, and in-person requests.
Reviewing upcoming bookings and accommodating special requests.
Maintaining an organised and structured reservation system.
Communicating effectively with both guests and the restaurant team.
Managing social media updates on behalf of the restaurant.
Handling multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while ensuring smooth service.

What We’re Looking For:

We are seeking an organised, detail-oriented, and customer-focused individual with:

1+ years of experience in a similar role in hospitality, reception, or administration.
Fluent English (a second language is a plus).
Exceptional communication skills in both spoken and written English.
Strong multitasking abilities and the ability to stay composed under pressure.
Proficiency with cloud-based systems, Microsoft Word, and Excel.
Familiarity with social media platforms for posting restaurant updates.
Full permission or a valid visa to work in the EU.
