About Us
Buon Gusto is a busy, authentic Italian restaurant in the heart of downtown Guelph. We pride ourselves on warm hospitality, exceptional food, and creating memorable dining experiences. We’re looking for an enthusiastic and personable Host to join our front-of-house team.
About the Role
As a Host, you are the first and last impression of the guest experience. You’ll greet guests warmly, manage reservations and walk-ins, and support the flow of service during busy shifts.
Responsibilities:
- Welcome guests with genuine hospitality and a positive attitude
- Manage reservations and seating using OpenTable
- Communicate wait times clearly and accurately
- Assist guests with inquiries about the menu, restaurant, or space
- Coordinate with servers & management to ensure smooth service flow
- Maintain a clean, organized restaurant
- Deliver items to guests once they are seated
- Bussing tables and supporting the wait-staff

- Friendly, confident, and guest-focused
- Strong communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to stay calm and organized during busy service
- Passion for providing epic hospitality
- Weekend and evening availability

Job Type: Part-time
