We are seeking a friendly and professional Host/Host to join our team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for our guests, ensuring a warm welcome and exceptional service from the moment they arrive. Your primary responsibility will be to manage the seating arrangements, maintain an organised waiting list, and provide outstanding guest services in a bustling restaurant environment. Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and escort them to their tables.
• Manage reservations and maintain an organised waiting list during busy periods.
• Communicate effectively with guests regarding wait times and special requests.
• Provide excellent phone etiquette when answering calls for reservations or inquiries.
• Collaborate with restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
• Assist guests with any questions or concerns they may have about the menu or services offered.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the host/host area.
• Help create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects our commitment to exceptional hospitality.

Experience

• Previous experience in guest services or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to interact positively with guests and staff alike.
• Familiarity with restaurant operations is an advantage, including knowledge of menus and dining etiquette.
• A friendly disposition and willingness to help others are key attributes for success in this role.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism under pressure.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.00-£14.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 per week
