Hotel Front Desk Associate

The re-branded SenS Suites Livermore, SureStay Collection by Best Western hotel (former Residence Inn) is currently hiring for 1-2 Front Desk Associates. This position can be either full-time or part-time. Our Front Desk shifts are from 6:00am-2:00pm, 2:00pm-10:00pm, and our Night Audit hours run from 10pm-6am. Our preference is to hire someone willing/able to work any shifts as necessary. Weekends and holidays will be required as the hotel industry works 24/7/365.

Front Desk tasks may vary, but include: answering phones, handling inquiries for hotel rates and availability, making reservations, check-in and check-out of guests and securing valid form of payment for all stays, preparing for new arrivals, handling any Maintenance and Housekeeping requests by communicating with other departments and/or logging issues and requests for the morning shift to follow up on to ensure resolution and completion, keeping our guest market well-stocked and clean, light office cleaning, filing/copying/scanning documents as needed, and any other task deemed necessary by Management or other staff.

Must have a strong background in Customer Service. Previous hotel experience is a PLUS but not required--we will train the person with the right attitude and passion for customer service. We are looking for a team player to join our family. The right candidate must be very outgoing and positive, "aggressively friendly", mature and responsible, reliable and punctual, comfortable with computers/typing/data entry, have a professional appearance and attitude, a good eye for detail, and previous experience with cash and credit card transactions.'
