Job Summary:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our team. As a Laundry Attendant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our guests' comfort by providing clean and fresh linens, towels, and other essential items. Your attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards will contribute to our guests' overall satisfaction and create memorable experiences during their stay.

Responsibilities:

Sorting, washing, drying, and folding linens, towels, and other hotel items according to established procedures.

Operating industrial laundry equipment, including washers, dryers.

Inspecting linens for stains, damages, and wear and tear, and following appropriate procedures for stain removal and replacement.

Maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area to ensure a safe and organized workspace.

Collaborating with the housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure a seamless flow of clean linens and towels to guest rooms and public areas.

Monitoring and documenting inventory levels and reporting any shortages or discrepancies to the supervisor.

Following IHG Hotels' guidelines for health and safety, including proper handling and storage of laundry chemicals and equipment.

Assisting in other housekeeping tasks as needed to maintain the highest level of cleanliness and guest satisfaction.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent.

Previous experience in a similar role, preferably in a hotel or hospitality setting.

Familiarity with industrial laundry equipment and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and ability to identify stains, damages, and wear on linens.

Excellent time management and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Good communication skills and the ability to interact with guests and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.

Flexibility to work different shifts, including weekends and holidays.
