Main Responsibilities will include: This is a hands-on, labour-intensive position that requires physical stamina, flexibility, and a strong work ethic.
Guest Arrival & Departure
- Assist with luggage handling (lifting, carrying, and delivering to rooms)
- Maintain a clean, presentable lobby and entrance area
Function & Event Setup
- Set up and break down function rooms for meetings, weddings, and events
- Arrange tables, chairs, staging, and equipment as required
- Reset rooms quickly and efficiently between events
- Ensure all event spaces are clean and ready for use
Cleaning & General Duties
- Carry out general cleaning duties across public areas and back-of-house
- Assist with waste removal and maintaining cleanliness standards
- Support the overall upkeep of the hotel
Housekeeping Support
- Assist housekeepers with linen, deliveries, and room servicing tasks
- Move beds, furniture, and equipment as needed
- Help prepare rooms during busy periods
Job Types: Part-time, Permanent
Expected hours: 8 – 40 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:
- Carlingford, County Louth: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
