We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to maintain cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, including hotels, commercial facilities, and private residences. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and custodial services, ensuring a safe, hygienic, and welcoming environment for clients and guests. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces
• Conduct floor care activities such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces
• Restock supplies such as toiletries, linens, and cleaning products as needed
• Ensure all cleaning tasks meet established standards for quality and safety
• Handle special cleaning projects including industrial cleaning or deep sanitation procedures when required
• Maintain equipment and supplies in good working order and report any damages or issues promptly
• Follow health and safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for self and others
• Assist with management of housekeeping operations if applicable

Experience

• Prior experience in cleaning, janitorial services, or custodial work is preferred
• Experience with floor care techniques including polishing and stripping floors is advantageous
• Hotel or hospitality industry experience is a plus but not mandatory
• Knowledge of industrial cleaning methods and equipment is beneficial
• Experience managing housekeeping staff or overseeing housekeeping operations is desirable
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to high standards of cleanliness and hygiene

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
