We’re seeking a reliable and caring Housekeeper to join our team at our Boyne Island Residential Aged Care Facility on a part-time basis.

About the Role

As a Housekeeper, you will play an important role in ensuring our care environment is clean, safe and welcoming for residents, visitors and team members. Your work directly supports resident wellbeing and the delivery of high‑quality aged care services.

This is a part-time position based at our Boyne Island facility.

What You’ll Do

• Maintain the cleanliness and hygiene of resident rooms, communal areas and equipment
• Follow housekeeping programs and infection control procedures
• Dust, mop, sweep, vacuum and clean bathrooms, windows and mirrors
• Operate cleaning equipment and machinery safely
• Ensure adequate stock and correct storage of cleaning supplies
• Report maintenance or safety issues as identified
• Work collaboratively within a supportive team environment
• Contribute to a positive, resident‑focused culture

What You’ll Need

• Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role (aged care experience desirable)
• Ability to work within policies, procedures and safety requirements
• Good time management skills and attention to detail
• A positive, reliable and team‑focused approach

Mandatory Requirements:

• National Police Check – Sundale will arrange
• Pre‑employment medical assessment – Sundale will arrange
