Housekeeper

Ballintrillick Environmental Group, an equal opportunity employer, has a vacancy for a Housekeeper at The Benwiskin Centre in Ballintrillick, Co. Sligo F91 A389. The Benwiskin Centre is a community centre and holiday hostel.

Housekeeping:-

• General cleaning of all areas in the Centre to include front of house, hall, kitchen, dining room, lounge, public toilets, staff room, laundry and corridors.
• Cleaning bedrooms and ensuites after guests leave and preparing them to a high standard for new arrivals the same day. We have different types of bedrooms but almost all bedrooms have bunk beds.
• We do our own laundry on site and we also provide a community laundry service.

Admin experience (advantage but not essential)

If suitable candidate has experience in admin duties there could be opportunities for further development within the role.

General admin duties for the Hostel and Community Centre could include:-

• Booking guests into accommodation
• Opening up/closing rooms on our online booking system
• Registration for classes/events
• General admin tasks

General

• Minimum 12 hours per week (additional hours may be available in busy periods)
• Minimum 2 shifts per week
• Generally 11am start
• Must be fully flexible with shifts
• Weekend work will be required for housekeeping
• Holidays - 4 weeks per year
• Hourly rate - €14.50 per hour
• Be able to multi-task, work on own initiative

This is not a seasonal post, work is available throughout the year.

This position is part funded by The Department of Rural and Community Development under their Community Services Programme - Employment Eligibility form has to be completed.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: €14.50 per hour
