Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and sanitation in residential or commercial settings, ensuring that all areas are well-kept and welcoming. This role requires a strong commitment to customer service and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and sanitizing surfaces.
• Provide floor care services such as carpet cleaning and maintenance of hard surface floors.
• Ensure proper sanitation practices are followed in all cleaning tasks to promote a healthy environment.
• Deliver excellent customer service by responding promptly to requests and maintaining a friendly demeanor.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or needs for replenishment.
• Follow safety protocols while using cleaning chemicals and equipment to prevent accidents.

REQUIRED Experience

• One year’s experience working with a frail or elderly population- REQUIRED
• One year’s experience working within a healthcare environment.
• Medically cleared for communicable diseases and has all immunizations up to date before engaging in direct participant contact (MMR, 2-step TB Required at or before date of hire)
• Commitment to demonstrating the highest standard of ethical conduct and integrity; strong willingness to continually embrace personal and professional development
• Proficient with computers, telephones, and other communication devices.
• Skills in housekeeping management or supervisory roles will be considered an asset.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to work efficiently under minimal supervision.
• Excellent communication skills with a focus on customer satisfaction.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour
