Being a Utility Worker in the industry is different to the normal hospitality lane. It still requires a passion for creating clean and safe spaces, from Mine Site Cleaners to Housekeeping or Kitchen Utility departments the emphasis is on ensuring all tasks are completed in a timely manner creating a clean and safe environment for all. Getting a start in the industry opens doors to develop greater skills, where room for career growth and development is available. For this particular role we are seeking for skilled and experienced Housekeeping Utility individuals.

Description:
To name a few of your daily routine for one of these roles (Housekeeper/Utility) or combined Utility All Rounder at Cater Care encompasses a variety of tasks, including:

• Setting up and clearing dining rooms
• Dishwashing and cleaning of the kitchen, equipment & dining areas
• Maintaining legislated food hygiene and safety practices
• Fast, effective service throughout busy periods - with a good attitude
• Assisting the broader team as required
• Preparing and presenting texture-modified foods
• Dining Room Duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
• Housekeeping Duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds (if needed)
• Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
• Mine Site Cleaning - cleaning offices, crib huts, bathhouses

Skills and Experiences:
The Ideal Applicant Will Have:

• Experience working as a Utility/Housekeeper 12 months +
• A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive ‘can-do’ attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced time-sensitive environment
• Pride in personal appearance & hygiene
• Drivers License (Auto or Man)
• Australian Citizen or Australian Permanent Resident
