OB TITLE: Housekeeping Boy
LOCATION: Koyambedu, Mogappair, Ramapuram (Chennai) & Yelagiri Hills
JOB SUMMARY:
The Housekeeping Boy is responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in guest rooms and hotel premises. The role includes cleaning rooms, changing linens, assisting guests when required, and supporting the housekeeping team to ensure a comfortable stay for guests.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Room Cleaning
- Clean guest rooms, bathrooms, and corridors regularly.
- Change bed sheets, pillow covers, and towels after guest checkout.
- Ensure rooms are neat, clean, and ready for new guests.
- Housekeeping Duties
- Dust furniture, vacuum floors, and mop surfaces.
- Refill toiletries, drinking water, and room supplies.
- Remove trash and maintain proper waste disposal.
- Guest Assistance
- Respond to guest requests such as extra towels, blankets, or water.
- Assist guests politely when needed.
- Linen Management
- Collect used linens and deliver them to the laundry area.
- Maintain proper storage of clean linens.
- Hotel Cleanliness
- Maintain cleanliness in common areas such as reception, lobby, stairs, and hallways.
- Follow hygiene and safety standards of the hotel.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Basic education preferred.
- Previous housekeeping experience in hotels is an advantage but not mandatory.
SKILLS REQUIRED:
- Basic cleaning and housekeeping skills
- Attention to cleanliness and hygiene
- Ability to follow instructions
- Physical stamina and teamwork
SALARY:
As per company standards / based on experience.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹15,000.00 per month
