Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings, ensuring that all areas meet high standards of hygiene and presentation. This position is essential in providing a welcoming environment for guests and residents alike.
Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of assigned areas, including guest rooms, hallways, restrooms, and common areas.
- Carry out floor care tasks such as sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine surfaces.
- Ensure all cleaning supplies and equipment are used safely and effectively.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Adhere to established housekeeping protocols and standards to ensure consistency in service quality.
- Assist with laundry duties as needed, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient workflow and guest satisfaction.
Experience
- Previous experience in housekeeping or custodial roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
- Familiarity with hotel or hospitality environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of industrial cleaning techniques and equipment operation is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer service.
