Our hotel is renowned for its immaculate cleanliness, and our guests consistently praise our high standards. To uphold our commitment to excellence, we are seeking a dedicated and detail-focused Housekeeping Room Attendant (part-time), the role may include public area cleaning duties/shifts.
About the Role
As a Housekeeping Room Attendant, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our rooms and public spaces meet the highest cleanliness and presentation standards. Reporting to the Head Housekeeper, you will:
- Clean and service guest rooms efficiently and to the highest standard
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas if required
- Ensure guest satisfaction through attention to detail and a friendly, professional manner
- Work effectively in a team environment while managing your own time efficiently
What We’re Looking For
We need someone who is:
- Experienced – Previous housekeeping experience in a hotel setting is an advantage
- Physically Fit – This is a physically demanding role, requiring standing, lifting (up to 25 kg), bending, and repetitive motions
- Detail-Oriented – A keen eye for cleanliness and presentation is essential
- Reliable & Punctual – Consistently on time and able to work within strict timeframes
- Flexible & Team-Focused – Available weekends, one or two weekdays and will be required to work most public holidays
- Positive & Guest-Oriented – Friendly, approachable, and committed to maintaining our high service standards
Work Schedule & Pay
- Minimum guaranteed hours: 15 per week
- Shift times: Range between 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM, with the odd afternoon shift to clean late departure rooms
- Pay rate: $26.52 – $27.29 per hour (based on experience)
- Public area cleaning duties may be included on some days
