Hr Administrator

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Administrator to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in supporting various HR functions, ensuring the smooth operation of our human resources department. This position requires strong organisational skills, proficiency in data entry, and familiarity with various HR software systems. The Human Resources Administrator will contribute to enhancing employee engagement and streamlining HR processes.

Duties

  • Logging training records on HRIS, booking training rooms, scheduling employees onto training courses
  • Carry out monthly payroll process.
  • Produce maintain and manage employee files (HRIS – PeopleHR)
  • Support with the recruitment process including dealing with agencies, feedback and referencing.
  • Manage, track and report absence and escalate to Group HR Manager when necessary.
  • Support line managers with the D&G process, escalating to HR manager for management.
  • Document and take minutes at HR-related meetings.
  • Ensure the department is GDPR compliant.
  • Arranging hotels and travel for senior management
  • Management and arranging of catering for workplace events and meetings.
  • Adhoc general administration for the department
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records, including personal information, employment history, and benefits enrolment
  • Process new hire paperwork, conduct pre-employment screening, and coordinate onboarding activities
  • Update and maintain HR information systems, ensuring data accuracy and integrity
  • Respond to employee inquiries related to HR policies, procedures, and programs, and direct inquiries to the Group HR Manager as needed.
  • Assist as directed with HR programs and initiatives, including training and development programs, performance management, and employee engagement activities as directed by Group HR Manager
  • Support HR projects, including research and data analysis, and contribute to the development of HR policies and procedures
  • Coordinate HR calendars, schedule meetings and appointments, and travel arrangements as needed
  • Assist with benefits administration, including enrolment and changes, and respond to employee inquiries related to benefits
  • Prepare and distribute HR-related communications, including announcements, memos, and policies as directed by Group HR Manager
  • Assist with HR reporting, data analysis and compiling MI data and reports

Qualifications

  • Proven experience in human resources or administrative roles is preferred.
  • CIPD qualification a plus but experience is more important!
  • Proficiency in data entry with a keen eye for detail.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems such as PeopleHR is advantageous.
  • Experience with recruitment platforms is desirable.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
  • Knowledge of employment legislation and best practices in human resources is a plus.

Hybrid opportunities exist following training and probation periods as per hybrid policy.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£28,500.00 per year
