Job Summary
We are looking for a dynamic HR Administrator to join our Human Resources division for a contract placement supporting our businesses in the Halifax Regional Municipality.
Start your HR career with hands-on experience at OSCO Construction Group, where you’ll support impactful projects and learn how HR drives success in a fast-paced construction environment. What You’ll Do:
As our HR Administrator , you’ll be the go‑to support for our HR Generalist, helping keep our people processes running smoothly while ensuring strong candidate-to-employee experiences. Your day-to-day responsibilities may include:
Providing administrative support across the HR function
Maintaining employee files, data, and documentation with strong attention to detail
Supporting recruitment through job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communication
Assisting with onboarding and welcoming new employees
Preparing reports, letters, and other HR communications
Offering professional support to employees and leaders
Being a reliable and positive presence within a busy HR environment
What You’ll Bring to the Team:
We’re looking for someone who is:
Organized and detail‑focused
Friendly and approachable, with strong communication skills
Comfortable handling confidential information
Able to multitask and adapt quickly
Tech‑savvy, with experience in Microsoft Office (HR systems are an asset)
Interested in developing a career in Human Resources
Own transportation to visit different sites in HRM when needed
Experience in HR or administration is a strong asset, but if you have the right attitude and eagerness to learn, we still want to hear from you!
