Job description
Emydex Technology is a leading supplier of factory floor MES software solutions to meat, fish and food processors around the globe. Our company market offices in Dublin, Canada, Australia and New Zealand support our customers located in over 20 countries worldwide
We are looking for a HR Administrator to join our team on a 13-month Fixed Term Contract (Maternity Leave Cover), starting January 2026.
This Dublin-based hybrid role is a standalone position supporting HR operations across Ireland, Australia, New Zealand, and Canada. Responsibilities include assisting with HR processes and preparing monthly payroll files for review and final approval.
The role requires flexibility to attend occasional late evening or early morning calls to connect with colleagues in different time zones. Time off in lieu will be provided.
Experience with Personio HRIS is an advantage.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Oversee HR operations across Ireland, Australia, New Zealand and Canada.
- Prepare monthly payroll files for all markets and review returned files before final approval for payment.
- Manage employee lifecycle processes including onboarding, contracts and benefits administration.
- Ensure compliance with employment legislation in all operating regions.
- Lead the Biannual Review process from start to finish in June and December each year.
- Work proactively with managers to identify and address key drivers of absenteeism, turnover, and performance issues.
- Support performance management, employee engagement, and culture initiatives.
- Maintain and optimise HR systems and processes; knowledge of Personio HRIS is an advantage.
- Provide HR advice and support to managers and employees across multiple time zones.
- Attend occasional late evening or early morning calls to connect with overseas colleagues (time off in lieu provided).
Skills Required:
- HR Expertise: Minimum 2 years’ experience in Human Resources.
- Payroll & Compliance: Solid understanding of payroll processes and employment law (Ireland essential; international exposure an advantage).
- Problem-Solving: Ability to spot trends and tackle issues like absenteeism, turnover, and performance challenges.
- People Skills: Excellent communicator who can build trust and influence at all levels.
- Talent Acquisition & Retention: Strong knowledge of recruitment, onboarding, and retention strategies to attract and grow top talent.
