Who we're looking for:

This is a 12 month fixed-term contract with the opportunity to go permanent.

We are seeking a proactive and relationship-focused HR Advisor to join our People team, partnering with our Global IT & Digital Transformation function. This is a unique opportunity to support leaders and employees across Australia, the UK, UAE and Canada, providing practical HR advice while helping deliver a consistent employee experience across multiple regions.

Based in the Perth Head Office (hybrid), you will work closely with the HR Business Partner and build strong virtual relationships with geographically dispersed teams. This role will suit someone who is naturally curious, enjoys learning, takes initiative and is keen to broaden their exposure to international HR practices, policies and employment legislation.

As HR Advisor, you will provide day-to-day HR support across the employee lifecycle, including performance management, recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, remuneration, talent and succession planning, and learning and development. You will also play a key role in maintaining HR data integrity, supporting global employee movements and contributing to HR projects and continuous improvement initiatives.

While the majority of work can be managed within standard business hours, some flexibility is required to attend occasional meetings with colleagues in the UK and UAE.

The suitable candidate will have:

  • 2-3 years' experience in a Human Resources Advisor, Coordinator or similar role, supported by a qualification in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (or equivalent experience).
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to build relationships, influence outcomes and communicate effectively across all levels of an organisation.
  • Sound understanding of HR practices, employment legislation and HR systems, with strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
  • A proactive, adaptable and solutions-focused approach, with the ability to manage competing priorities and maintain confidentiality.
  • Experience working with geographically dispersed teams or across multiple regions will be highly regarded, along with a willingness to learn and build knowledge of international HR policies, benefits and legislation.
