ECG Engineering are leaders in the Electrical Engineering sector, delivering design and project delivery services to the Mining, Utilities, Materials Handling and Industrial sectors with extensive and proven capabilities in Australia, and around the world. We require an HR Advisor to partner with our Global HR & Recruitment Team and be the solution in providing a proactive response to our Operational Team in our Toronto Office. This role will need an applicant whose core values include a strong focus on supporting the Operations Manager.

Key functions of the role:
- Lead end-to-end recruitment: position description, sourcing, screening and interviews.
- Partner with the Global HR Team to understand technical role requirements and candidate profiles.
- Support workforce planning and talent pipeline strategies.
- Provide guidance on HR and ER related matters.
- Coordinate all aspects of HR process improvements.
- Qualifications in Human Resources or a related field.
- Four years’ experience in an advisory capacity, preferably with some experience within the mining, resources or manufacturing sector.
- Strong Communication skills and the confidence to work with all business levels.
- Effective problem solving, critical thinking and analytical skills and hands on can-do attitude.
- Ability to work to deadlines and under pressure with conflicting priorities.
- Able to work as part of a team and build inter-team effectiveness.
- Initiative, ownership, integrity and confidence.
- Technically specialized team environment.
- True HR/recruitment generalist role.
