Collaborating closely with our retail teams, you’ll execute on people strategies that enhance workplace culture, drive growth, and align HR efforts with business goals. You will be located in the HQ In Espoo and also support the Brands mentioned office people.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
You’ll be the key HR partner for our Business units, working closely with leaders to align HR strategies with our business objectives. Your main focus will be to support our Retail environment in Finland and you will work in a team reporting into the HR director of Iittala & Moomin. By driving talent, employee engagement and leadership support you’ll ensure our teams have the tools and support they need to succeed. Responsibilities:
  • Support retail leadership in developing and implementing HR strategies that drive business growth
  • Manage recruitment for retail roles, ensuring a strong pipeline of talent
  • Deliver employee engagement programs to inspire a high performing organization
  • Identify and address training needs to support professional growth and skill development
  • Advise leaders on performance management and employee relations to foster collaboration and resolution
  • Ensure compliance with labor laws and maintaining a fair and equitable work environment
  • Analyze HR metrics to improve retention and satisfaction
  • Support diversity and inclusion initiatives to create a welcoming and inclusive workplace
WHO YOU ARE
You’re an experienced HR professional who thrives in fast-paced, people-first environments. You are hands-on and a people person who understands the retail environment. You’re ready to make a real difference in the lives of employees and the success of our retail operations. Collaborative, proactive, and solutions-oriented, you build trust and drive results in equal measure.
Experience:
  • 5+ years of HR management experience in a retail environment
  • Hands-on experience in retail store operations or leadership
  • Fluent in Finnish and English to communicate effectively across teams
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building trust and alignment
  • Commercially focused approach to achieving results through effective HR practices
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems like Workday
  • A proactive, organized, and solution-oriented mindset
  • Bachelor’s Degree in HR, or another behavioural degree
