Are you looking to grow your career in HR? We have an opportunity for an HR / Learning & Development Coordinator to join our team on a full time fixed term basis (from January - December 2025) in Wellington. You will gain experience across various HR disciplines within an organisation that is focused on supporting pēpī, whānau and communities across Aotearoa.

In this role, you’ll have the chance to manage a wide range of HR and L&D tasks, with a particular focus on employee onboarding, induction, training programs, and overall employee development. You’ll ensure a smooth onboarding process for new hires, facilitate learning opportunities and be the Learning Management System (LMS) Superuser providing support to end-users and ensuring the overall functionality of the platform.

He kōrero mōu | About you
Your prior experience in HR or L&D combined with your exceptional communication skills and continuous improvement mindset will ensure you add value and innovate our ways of working. You’ll be proficient in MS Office Suite and other HR software, with strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach.
You will also be/have:
- A relevant tertiary qualification in HR or related discipline (desirable)
- Experience as an administrator of a digital platform including supporting users, and assisting with the configuration and improvements
- An understanding of current employment legislation and its application.
- The ability to engage and collaborate effectively across all levels.
- A keen eye for detail, with a high level of accuracy in all tasks.
- A committed team player who can build strong relationships and work independently.
