Do you want to help shape the future of a modern, data-driven employee experience in If? Are you enthusiastic about turning ideas into real impact, driving HR projects forward, and enabling smarter ways of working through digitalization and AI?
If so, this might be the perfect opportunity for you. We are on a journey to build a proactive, multi-skilled, and digitally enabled HR Project team that supports a great employee experience for everyone at If.
About the role
We are looking for an HR Project Manager who can turn ideas into impact. In this role, you will lead and coordinate HR projects that enhance our employee experience, strengthen our ways of working, and support our digital development. You will move comfortably between strategic direction setting and hands-on execution. You enjoy shaping the big picture just as much as rolling up your sleeves to make things happen, and you work fluently across both agile and more traditional project methods.
You will work closely with HR colleagues and business stakeholders across Nordic and Baltic countries, ensuring we deliver projects that create clear value. A general understanding of AI and a genuine interest in how it can enhance HR are important for succeeding in this role.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead HR Projects From Start to Finish
  • Plan, run, and follow up on HR projects that support our people strategy and business needs.
  • Scope and prioritize initiatives together with HR leadership and key stakeholders.
  • Deliver projects with structure, transparency, and efficiency.
  • Drive change and ensure smooth adoption of new processes and tools.
Work Both Strategically and Hands‑On
  • Drive the overall project direction while also taking responsibility for detailed tasks.
  • Coordinate cross‑functional work and keep stakeholders aligned.
  • Track measurable outcomes, adoption, and realized benefits, not only delivery milestones.
Support Our HR Technology and Digital Development
  • Contribute to system improvements and digitalization within HR.
  • Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration.
  • As AI becomes integrated into HR, identify opportunities to make processes more efficient and improve employee experience.
  • Promote responsible and secure use of AI tools, uphold ethical standards and data privacy.
  • Advocate for continuous learning and adaptability as AI capabilities evolve.
We offer
Here are some of the benefits of working at If:
  • An including work environment where everyone is welcome.
  • Career and development opportunities in the largest insurance company in the Nordics.
  • Social activities, as well as highly skilled professional environment.
  • Possibility of hybrid workplace.
  • A health promoting workplace with e.g., wellness allowance and various sports activities.
  • Great insurance benefits.
  • Lunch benefit.
About the team
The HR Project team is a key enabler in the development of HR processes and the HR ecosystem, and a trusted partner across the HR organization. We are a newly established, small, dedicated and highly capable team working together with HR and business stakeholders.
Who are you?
  • Experienced in managing HR or people‑related projects supported by higher education or equivalent experience.
  • Able to see the big picture while managing details and day-to-day execution.
  • Comfortable working independently and skilled in stakeholder management.
  • Possessing good understanding of core HR processes.
  • Having practical understanding of AI and digital tools and curiosity to learn more.
  • An effective communicator with the ability to turn complex into simple, using English as the working language. You are also fluent in one of the Nordic languages.
You also have:
  • Experience with HR systems such as Workday.
  • Experience contributing to AI pilots, implementations, or change initiatives.
  • Familiarity with change management, UX or service design.
  • Experience working in a Nordic or international organization.
