About the Role
This is an exciting, broadly scoped role in a fast paced, high volume environment, that will see you assisting with and guide preparation of new functional test scripts, regression scripts and testing scenarios that will determine optimal system performance according to specifications.
You will:
- Deploy effective test suites and operations systems enhancements in a timely manner.
- Communicate and resolve systems/software application issues through careful testing in order to maximize the benefit of HRIS investments and initiatives.
- You will have the opportunity to showcase your analytical and problem solving skills as well as your attention to detail and accuracy.
About you
Essential Skills
- 3-5 Years of full payroll experience in a large organisation or >1000 employees which has multi collective agreements that cover 24 hour rotating shifts.
- Experience PeopleSoft system with emphasis on Payroll
- Proven processes and systems testing and trouble-shooting skills
- Proven administrative skills required to log and track system issues and enhancements
- Work effectively when under pressure, and always interact with others in a friendly, open and supportive way.
- Sound understanding of all current legislation relating to payroll
- Ability to interpret and apply collective and individual agreements in relation to payroll entitlements
- High level of computer skill and use of Microsoft products, especially Excel and Word
- Be able to establish and maintain positive working relationships within the team and wider business.
Desired Skills
- PeopleSoft and OneStaff experience
- Full testing experience
