About the Role

Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSEQ Advisor (FIFO 2/1) from Perth to oversee health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives on major projects in WA.

The Opportunity

Our upcoming large-scale decommissioning and remediation projects will be undertaken in challenging site environments and will encompass:

  • The safe removal of hazardous materials.
  • Deconstruction of infrastructure.
  • Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
As the HSEQ Advisor, you will be developing and implementing safety and quality initiatives, ensuring a safe working environment, and embedding a culture of continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist in the development and implementation of HSEQ policies and management systems.
  • Conduct audits, risk assessments, and incident investigations.
  • Support compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
  • Work collaboratively with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to align HSEQ objectives.
  • Provide guidance and support on all project-related HSEQ matters.
  • Assist in the development of training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness and competency.
Your Background

  • Minimum of 3 years of HSEQ experience in mining, oil & gas, or civil sectors
  • Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety (WHS) & White Card
  • Incident Management experience and qualification
  • Demonstrated experience in supporting and promoting HSEQ initiatives
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Ability to conduct incident investigations and risk assessments
  • Understanding of HSEQ management systems and compliance frameworks
