HSEQ Advisor / Senior HSEQ Advisor – Register Your Interest
Perth Based → FIFO 2:1 | Major WA Project | Pre-Execution + Site

Liberty Industrial has recently been awarded a major WA project and is now inviting Expressions of Interest from experienced HSEQ Advisors and Senior HSEQ Advisors to support upcoming mobilisation.

This is an opportunity to be involved from the early stages of a project, contributing to pre-execution planning in Perth before transitioning into a key site-based FIFO role.

The Opportunity

We are building a strong HSEQ team to support delivery across both pre-execution and site operations. These roles will work closely with the HSEQ Lead and Project teams to ensure systems are fit for purpose, aligned with client requirements, and embedded effectively on site.

This is a practical, site-focused opportunity suited to individuals who understand how work is delivered and can apply HSEQ in a real-world environment.

Description:
Project & Roster

Initial Perth-based pre-execution phase (approx. 6–8 weeks)
Transition to FIFO 2:1 roster (2 weeks on, 1 week off)
12-hour days on site
WA-based project with Tier 1 mining client exposure
Standard project allowances applicable

Key Responsibilities

Lead and support incident investigations (ICAM)
Work closely with site teams to implement Safe Systems of Work
Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments
Support integration of Liberty systems with Tier 1 client requirements
Provide clear, practical HSEQ guidance to supervisors and crews
Drive safety culture through active site engagement
Support mobilisation and pre-execution planning activities
Ensure compliance with WHS legislation and project standards

What We’re Looking For

Senior HSEQ Advisor (5+ years):
Strong leadership capability and experience across complex projects
Exposure to pre-execution and system development

HSEQ Advisor (2–5 years):
Solid foundation in HSEQ with the ability to support delivery on site

For All Candidates:
Experience within heavy industry (mining, civil, demolition or similar)
Strong incident investigation experience (ICAM essential)
Experience working with Tier 1 mining clients and systems
Formal WHS qualification (minimum Diploma)
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all levels
Practical, solutions-focused approach

Highly Regarded

Certificate IV in Training & Assessing
Experience with DoneSafe or similar systems
Background in demolition, remediation, or civil projects
