About the Role
Liberty Industrial is seeking an experienced and highly skilled HSEQ Manager (FIFO 2/1) from Perth to oversee health, safety, environment, and quality (HSEQ) initiatives on major projects in WA. The Opportunity
Our upcoming large-scale decommissioning and remediation projects will be undertaken in challenging site environments and will encompass:
- The safe removal of hazardous materials.
- Deconstruction of infrastructure.
- Strict adherence to environmental and safety regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSEQ policies and management systems.
- Conduct audits, risk assessments, and major incident investigations.
- Ensure full compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and best practices.
- Lead and develop the HSEQ team, fostering a proactive and safety-first culture.
- Collaborate with project managers, supervisors, and stakeholders to align HSEQ objectives.
- Provide expert advice and support on all project-related HSEQ matters.
- Lead investigations and implement strategies to drive continuous improvements in safety and quality performance.
- Develop and deliver training programs to enhance workforce safety awareness and competency.
- Minimum of 5 years of HSEQ management experience in mining, oil & gas, construction or civil sectors.
- Advanced Diploma or higher in WHS/OHS. Certificate IV in Training and Assessment is desirable.
- Demonstrated experience in leading and developing successful HSEQ teams.
- Strong leadership, coaching, and mentoring abilities.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Proven ability to conduct and manage major investigations.
- Proficiency in HSEQ management systems and reporting tools.
- Strong understanding of risk management principles and compliance frameworks.
