As a Part-time (22.5 hours per week) Human Resource and Payroll Administrator at MUJI Store Support Service, you will play a key role in supporting accurate payroll processing and HR administration. Your responsibilities will include:
- Assist in the preparation and processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance
- Accurately maintain timesheet and employee data in HRIS systems (Kronos and ELMO)
- Support payroll activities including onboarding, terminations, pay adjustments, and reporting
- Provide first-level HR and payroll support, managing enquiries and processing basic HR lifecycle and administrative tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and assist with boarder HR and payroll projects
Skills and Experiences:
- 2+ years of dedicated payroll experience in the Australian market, ideally within a fast-paced retail environment
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES, General Retail Industry Award and Single Touch Payroll reporting
- A Diploma or higher qualification in Payroll, HR, Accounting, or Business Administration (or equivalent practical experience)
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills and a strong math/calculation aptitude for accurate timesheet, tax, and superannuation processing
- Experience with ELMO and Kronos (UKG) systems is highly regarded
- High attention to detail, strict process compliance, and a proven ability to handle confidential data with complete discretion
- Excellent communication skills, high emotional intelligence, and a proactive, can-do attitude when collaborating on group projects
