Human Resource Manager - Parental Leave Cover

• Fixed-term, full-time, 12-month contract, Monday – Friday
• Based at Auckland City Hospital, Grafton
• Responsible for the Kāhui o te Ihi (Mental Health) Directorate

Reporting to the People Partnering Lead, the Human Resources Manager supports the end to end operational HR advice and services, including the delivery and implementation of HR strategies, policies and processes. The primary purpose of the role is to: Provide operational and strategic human resource management advice to a designated Directorate that supports the organisations business plan. (Although this role is based in Grafton, there will be some travel required to Greenlane, Pt Chev, or community sites if that is your designated area you are dealing with).

Nga Pūkenga Motuhake | Important Skills

• Preferred experience in the Public Service, working with unions
• 5 years + knowledge in HR Management
• Have a relevant tertiary qualification to the role
• Previous leadership work experience
• Knowledge of NZ Employment legislation
• Ideally worked within the Health/Medical industry
