This role will be filled in line with Public Pay Policy at Point 1 of the relevant Salary Scale unless the successful candidate is appointed from an existing public sector role.

Role
Reporting to the Human Resources & Engagement Manager and working within the wider HR team, to provide a confidential and comprehensive Human Resource support to the organisation in relation to all aspects of the HR function.
Note: This role could involve some travel and work outside normal business hours.
Key Results Area
- Prepare payroll notifications for all staff globally, ensuring that all relevant information is communicated to HR, Finance and Payroll providers in a timely manner.
- Process accurate and timely monthly and year-end reporting for payroll related transactions as required.
- Working with the outsourced payroll providers, manage the payroll policies ensuring compliance to all regulations, policies, and procedures in all jurisdictions.
- Advising on pay and remuneration, including promotion and benefits for all Tourism Ireland offices globally.
- Provide administration with regard to Tourism Ireland’s pension scheme, processing year end data, starter/leaver forms and retirement information.
- Provide Recruitment, Onboarding and probation support.
- Own the offboarding process, which includes leavers and retirements.
- Preparation of documentation for work permits & visa’s along with any other relevant administration relating to assigning staff to, or repatriating staff from overseas markets.
- Respond to HR queries and requests from staff members in a responsive and comprehensive manner, ensuring that high levels of customer service are provided at all times and that complex issues are referred to the appropriate level.
- Provide budget support, adhering to all financial company policy and procedures.
- Coordinate responses for both Internal and External HR Audits.
- Collate responses and reports for all Governmental Department requests.
- Collate information and produce yearly Gender Gap Reports as per legislative requirements.
- Full cycle management of the Global Intern Programme in Tourism Ireland.
- Have an active involvement in, and a positive contribution to any HR Projects that may arise.
- Ensure adherence in your area of responsibility to the company’s GDPR compliance policies and procedures.
- Other such duties as the company may from time-to-time reasonably request.
The Person
Essential
- Educated to degree level with a HR qualification and/or CIPD Membership.
- Relevant experience in a similar payroll administrative role.
- Knowledge of HR practices and Employment legislation
- Well-developed interpersonal skills with an ability to relate well to people at all levels.
- An ability to work to deadlines, to manage a number of tasks simultaneously and to deliver within demanding timescales.
- Discretion and confidentiality are paramount.
- Strong organisational and administration skills.
- A good team player with a flexible approach
- Demonstrable attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent IT skills, in particular in Word, excel and PowerPoint.
- HR systems knowledge.
- A commitment to Tourism Ireland’s values and evidence of demonstrating these values in practice.
