We are currently seeking an experienced and motivated HR Generalist to join our team at The Fleet Hotel, a well-established property in Dublin City Centre. This is an exciting opportunity for a dynamic HR professional who is passionate about people, culture, and delivering high-quality HR support in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

About The Fleet

The Fleet Hotel is a wonderful boutique style Hotel located in the centre of Dublin on the edge of Temple Bar. It comprises of some beautiful period buildings including the iconic Bewleys Café, much loved by Dubliner’s for decades. The Fleet Hotel is synonymous with local Dublin history, before becoming the Fleet Hotel, 19/20 Fleet Street was home to Bewley’s Café which was established by Ernest Bewley in 1905. Bewleys were known to be one of the finest Tea Houses in Europe and a favourite with Dubliner’s for generations.

Role Responsibilities

  • Support the full employee lifecycle, including recruitment, onboarding, and offboarding
  • Manage and maintain employee records and HR systems
  • Drive employee engagement initiatives and support a positive workplace culture
  • Assist with performance management processes and training coordination
  • Ensure compliance with employment legislation and company policies
  • Support health and safety practices across the organisation
  • Work closely with department managers to provide HR guidance and support

About The Role

Requirements

  • Previous experience in an HR Generalist role, ideally within hospitality or a similar fast-paced environment
  • Strong recruitment and employee relations experience
  • Systems experience is essential, with desirable experience using Timepoint (Time & Attendance system)
  • Familiarity with health & safety systems and training portals
  • Excellent IT skills, particularly in the Microsoft Office Suite
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
