Just some of our achievements include developing New Zealand's first infrastructure strategy which sets a direction for decades to come, sharing ground-breaking research while also maintaining a pipeline that provides insight into New Zealand's planned infrastructure projects. We're now busy developing a National Infrastructure Plan to help give New Zealanders greater confidence that the infrastructure we all rely on is well planned, provides value for money, and meets the needs of today and tomorrow.
Role purpose | Te Kaupapa o te Turanga
We're looking for an experienced Human Resources (HR) Manager to support the General Manager (GM) Corporate (Operations) to partner with senior leaders across the business to promote practices and activity that will provide an employee-oriented, high-performance culture that emphasises engagement and involvement, safety and wellbeing and ongoing development of our workforce.
This position will be responsible for deploying our people strategy across relevant business areas, whilst working with the relevant members of our team to manage HR-related activities including organisational capability and capacity, talent management, change management and employment relations.
This role will also be responsible for:
- Business partnering, including delivery of employee life-cycle initiatives
- Recruitment and onboarding
- Payroll and office management
- Reporting and analysis
- People leadership support
- Coordinating and supporting health, safety and wellbeing activity.
To do this you will be experienced at things like | E riro ai i a koe tenei turanga me whai wheako koe ki nga tumahi penei i enei:
- Coaching and partnering with leaders at a senior level.
- Utilising a pragmatic HR approach, with an ability to pivot between strategic thinking and operational excellence.
- Establishing effective working relationships in an open and approachable manner with a variety of people from different backgrounds and over distance.
You will also have | Me whai hoki e koe:
- Significant tenure in senior HR generalist roles with in-depth experience in strategic HR planning, culture building and employment relations.
- A good understanding of planning and reporting principles and processes.
- A relevant tertiary qualification at Bachelor level is essential with a preference for commerce, business, human resources, law, arts or finance.
