Human Resources Officer - Bluebell

Hours: Monday – Thursday 8.30am – 5.00pm

Friday 8.30am – 4.00pm

We wish to recruit a Human Resources Officer to join our well-established company, based at Brooks Head Office, Bluebell, Dublin. This position requires a strong HR Generalist background and good experience in providing expert advice and managing/supporting our HR Processes. We continue to have huge ambitions to grow exponentially therefore we are actively recruiting an ambitious, driven and knowledgeable and motivated HR Assistant to ensure that they provide an effective HR Service that adds real value. The post holder will be expected to work as part of the wider HR Team in the provision of a comprehensive service in Southern Ireland.

Responsibilities:

· Manage the end to end recruitment process including creating job specs, descriptions, advertising positions, shortlisting, conducting interviews, offering jobs and issuing contracts.

· Provide HR expert advice on all people-related matters, ensuring guidance is in line with employment law, best practice and in line with company policy and procedures.

· Responding to HR queries and managing all aspects of HR issues across the employee lifecycle.

· Managing and supporting disciplinary and grievance procedures as required.

· Guiding and supporting managers with end to end case management for all employee related cases, ensuring appropriate application of employment law.

· Working closely with the wider HR Team to ensure the business receives an efficient and high-quality service.

· Overseeing a Part Time Payroll Assistant

· The majority of your time will be based at our Head Office in Bluebell, but you will be required from time to time and spend time at our other Branches to support their business needs.

· Preparation of monthly reports.

· Other duties as required by the HR Office.

· Reporting to Group Head of Human Resources.

Criteria:

· Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a Human Resources role in delivering on key HR duties within a fast paced environment.

· Ideally CIPD qualified or Degree in Human Resources.

· Experience of managing end to end recruitment processes.

· Experience in managing/leading investigations, disciplinaries, grievance and performance management cases.

· A thorough knowledge of ROI Employment Law, practices and their application, with a proven track record in dealing with employee relations issues.

· Experience in managing Payroll and all aspects associated with such

· Ability to plan and prioritise workload effectively within a fast-paced HR environment.

· Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office.

· Excellent organisation, communication and interpersonal skills.

· A strong attention to detail and an ability to problem solve.

· Excellent people skills and ability to build relationships on all levels.

· Have a current valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
