Construction
CPP is Australia’s leading provider of end-to-end substation solutions for utilities and the renewable energy sector, delivering design, installation, and maintenance services up to 500kV. Specialising in both greenfield and brownfield projects, we have successfully delivered over 100 HV substations nationwide.
As the country’s most experienced contractor in Balance of Plant (BoP) services, we have connected more wind farms and battery storage systems (BESS) to the grid than any other provider. Our one-stop-shop approach covering design, civil, manufacturing, electrical works, grid connection, and commissioning, ensures seamless project delivery.

We’re scaling our delivery capability across NSW and are looking for HV Electricians to join us on a strong pipeline of major infrastructure projects, both across Sydney and regional locations.
A mix of local sydney and regional NSW jobs are available to work on high-profile energy projects, including substation upgrades, connection works to large-scale data centres, and critical network infrastructure.

In Sydney & Newcastle, you’ll work on major substation upgrades locally, connection works to large-scale data centres, and critical network infrastructure—allowing you to stay close to home while gaining exposure to complex HV environments. For those open to regional work, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute to key infrastructure projects across locations such as Tamworth, Mudgee, Tumut and Moree, with structured rosters and strong earning potential through overtime and allowances.

Working within a Tier 1 EPC environment, you’ll be part of a collaborative site team delivering brownfield and greenfield projects for key clients across the energy sector. If you’re looking to step further into HV, build your experience in substations, or transition from heavy industrial sectors, this role offers a clear pathway.

- Electrical trade qualification
- Current NSW Electrical Licence
- Current Driver’s Licence
- Experience in substations, utilities, or heavy industrial environments
- Strong team attitude – willing to get involved and support across site
- Commitment to working safely and delivering high-quality outcomes

Highly Regarded:
- HV installation experience or exposure to electrical infrastructure
- Experience on Transgrid or similar network projects
- Background in major project delivery environments
