Job Summary

Commercial & industrial 2-5 years of experance preventative maintenance, service and some installation technician. Hardworking & Reliable HVAC Technician who are eager to learn with minimal supervision

Responsibilities and Duties

HVAC preventative maintenance, service and some installation, for customers in accordance with manufacturer specifications and local codes.

Adhere to all safety rules and procedures.

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of all modern equipment and regulations

Perform other duties as required by supervisor or designate.

Qualifications and Skills

Skills, Abilities and Experience:

Completed a minimum of Grade 12 or equivalent.

Must have a Gas Technician II license.

Must have a Refrigeration 313D or 313A.

Must have sheet metal (duct work) experience for one years.

Must have Gas / refrigeration piping experience for one years.

Must have valid Ozone Depletion Prevention (ODP) card.

HVAC Diploma Program (2-3 Year program)

Must know how to read electrical diagrams!!

Must have at least a Class G Driver’s License and Provide the latest copy of your Record of Driver Abstract.

Must be physically capable of performing all work required of this position, i.e. occasional lifting of 25 kg up to shoulder height, frequent bending, occasional squatting/kneeling, working hight , working inside and outside in all types of weather within environments that can be dusty, Hot , Cold and/or slippery.

Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively, both in written and verbal communications.

Must have strong interpersonal and problem-solving skills.

Must have outstanding mechanical/ Electrical skills and able to read diagrams!!

Must have safety training certificates: Work at height, Fall arrest, Lock out, WHMIS.

Must be able to demonstrate the ability to understand/learn new technologies (i.e. Electronics/electricity).

Maintain company vehicle to a clean and safe standard.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $25.00-$55.00 per hour
