Som led i Rødkilde Gymnasiums udvikling søger vi en visionær og struktureret IB-koordinator. Vi er i gang med at blive certificeret som IB-skole og gør klar til at implementere Diploma Programme og søger derfor dig, der kan og vil være den drivende kraft i opbygningen af et stærkt fagligt og pædagogisk miljø, hvor samarbejde med eksterne samarbejdspartnere vægtes højt.

Rødkilde Gymnasium er et STX-gymnasium med ca. 800 elever og 90 engagerede medarbejdere.

Rødkilde Gymnasium er en traditionsrig skole fra 1865, international UNESCO Verdensmåls-skole, eliteidrætsgymnasium og er stærkt optaget af at give eleverne de bedste faglige og dannelsesmæssige forudsætninger for videre uddannelse.

Din rolle:

Som IB-koordinator bliver du "hjerte og hjerne" i vores internationale linje. Efter certificeringsprocessen bliver din fornemmeste opgave at sikre, at programmet kører fejlfrit efter de globale standarder, samtidig med at du fungerer som brobygger mellem IB og vores eksisterende gymnasiekultur. Som led i implementeringen af IB sætter vi vores skolekultur under lup, så vi sikrer, at fremtidens Rødkilde Gymnasium udnytter synergierne mellem de to skoleformer bedst muligt.

Dine primære ansvarsområder:

• Autorisation: Som officiel kontaktperson til IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization) bliver du ansvarlig for certificeringsprocessen og programopstart.

• Administration og kvalitetssikring: Planlægning af årsplan, eksamensplan og løbende sikring af at IBOs standarder overholdes.

• Pædagogisk sparring: Vejledning af IB-undervisere og koordinatorer.

• Rådgivning: Rådgivning af elever.

• Fælles skolekultur: Medskaber af en fælles skolekultur.

• Rekruttering: Elevoptag og rekruttering af IB-undervisere.

Do you want to lead Rødkilde Gymnasium’s new IB programme?

As part of Rødkilde Gymnasium’s ongoing development, we are looking for a visionary and well‑structured IB Coordinator. We are currently in the process of becoming an authorized IB World School, preparing to implement the Diploma Programme, and therefore seeking someone who can and will be the driving force in building a strong academic and pedagogical environment where collaboration with external partners is highly valued.

Rødkilde Gymnasium is an upper‑secondary school (STX) with approximately 800 students and 90 dedicated staff members.

Founded in 1865, Rødkilde is a school rich in tradition, a UNESCO World school, an elite sports gymnasium, and deeply committed to providing students with the best academic and personal foundation for further education.

Rødkilde Gymnasium aims to be an active contributor to the local community, and with its unique location at the end of Vejle Fjord—surrounded by town, water, and forest—we have every opportunity to integrate the surrounding environment into our educational approach.

Your role

As IB Coordinator, you will be the “heart and mind” of our international programme. After the authorization process, your primary task will be to ensure that the programme runs smoothly in accordance with global standards, while also serving as a bridge between the IB and our existing school culture. As part of the IB implementation, we will examine our school culture closely to ensure that the future Rødkilde Gymnasium benefits fully from the synergies between the two educational systems.

Your main responsibilities include:

• Authorization: Acting as the official contact person for the IBO (International Baccalaureate Organization), responsible for the authorization process and programme launch.

• Administration and quality assurance: Planning the academic year, exam schedules, and ensuring continuous compliance with IBO standards.

• Pedagogical support: Guiding IB teachers and coordinators.

• Student advice: Providing guidance and support to IB students.

• School culture: Helping to shape a unified school culture.

• Recruitment: Admissions of students and recruitment of IB teachers.

  
  

Who are you?

We are looking for someone who thrives at the intersection of precision and initiative:

• Highly structured: You love systems and never miss a deadline.

• International mindedness: You are internationally oriented with strong language skills. You communicate effortlessly in both English and Danish, orally and in writing.

• Diplomatic and relationship‑oriented: You can navigate a complex landscape of stakeholders and build trust among teachers, parents, staff, and external partners.

• Experience: Knowledge of the IB—either as a teacher or coordinator—is a significant advantage, but we also value organizational talent and the willingness to learn about the system.

• Team‑oriented: You will be responsible for the IB programme at Rødkilde Gymnasium and will join the management team, which includes the principal, vice principal, CFO, and two programme directors. We therefore expect you to be a teamplayer who contributes to strong collaboration.
