Established in 2006, IGG was founded with the aim of becoming a leading multiplayer game publisher and developer. The company has rapidly expanded its global operations, through strategic partnerships with popular gaming platforms such as Facebook, iOS, Amazon, Google Play, Kongregate, and many others. Position: Child Development Companion (Bilingual)
Reports to: Senior Vice President
Hiring Level: Experienced
Contract Type: Prefer Part Time (If needed could be fulltime too)
Working Hours: Part-time: 3 days per week (8 hours per day)(or Full-time: 5 days per week (8 hours per day))
Workplace: Primarily at the Senior Vice President's home (may require travel with the family)
Hourly Rate: CAD22 - CAD32/hr based on experience & interview feedback

Key Responsibilities:
The role focuses on providing daily care, academic support, and guidance for children while ensuring their overall well-being and safety. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Caring for children’s daily routines, including meal preparation and planning.
Safely transporting children to and from school and other activities, while maintaining regular communication about their whereabouts.
Accompanying children to extracurricular activities, such as enrichment programs and recreational events.
Assisting with academic assignments and creating structured study plans.
Liaising with teachers to stay informed about the child’s progress and school matters.
Encouraging positive habits in learning and daily routines.
Accompanying children on domestic and international trips, if required.
Provide other related support as required.
Qualifications:
Experience: A minimum of three years’ experience in childcare, education, or a similar role is preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or higher, preferably in education or a related field.
Skills:
Proficiency in Mandarin and English (bilingual fluency) based on family's communication.
Valid driver’s license and ability to safely operate a vehicle (preferred).
Basic cooking skills are an asset.
Attributes:
Strong sense of responsibility, honesty, and patience.
Understanding of child development stages and family education principles.
Familiarity with local educational systems, children’s recreational activities, and community resources in Vancouver.
Other: Background in child psychology or experience in guiding children’s educational and emotional development is a plus.
