Caregiver Job Description

In this role, you will provide essential care to clients assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety in their home. Your commitment to quality care will make a significant impact on the lives of those you serve.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with activities of daily living including but not limited to; companionship, bathing, dressing, mobility, transfers, meal preparation, housekeeping, grocery shopping and medication reminders.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment
• Client monitoring and observation
• Documentation on client status and care provided along with communication to administrative staff

Requirements

• 18 years of age or older
• Valid Driver’s License and Clean Record
• Active or previous Certified Nursing Assistant Certification
• Active Personal Support Specialist Certification
• Ability to lift 35 pounds

Schedule and Hours

• Variable workload
• Hours are subject to change dependent on client status and caregiver availability

Compensation

• Hourly rate Monday through Friday $20.00
• Hourly rate Saturday and Sunday $22.00
• $10 gas stipend each shift
• Mileage reimbursement $0.725 cents per mile at the IRS rate for 2026 if your own vehicle is used to transport clients.
• Holiday pay is time and a half the regular rate
• Earned Paid Leave
