Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to provide personalized support and assistance to individuals in their own homes. This role involves helping clients with daily activities, ensuring their safety, and promoting independence. Ideal candidates will have a genuine desire to make a positive impact on others’ lives and possess a variety of caregiving skills. The position offers an opportunity to work closely with diverse populations, including seniors and individuals with disabilities, in a supportive and respectful environment. One must have a Canadian visa or be a resident to apply and be employed.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Prepare nutritious meals tailored to individual dietary needs and preferences
• Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and organization to maintain a safe and comfortable environment
• Provide companionship and emotional support to promote mental well-being
• Support clients with medication reminders and health monitoring as needed
• Engage clients in activities that foster learning, teaching, or recreational enjoyment
• Assist with transportation to appointments or outings when required
• Follow care plans and communicate effectively with family members or healthcare professionals regarding client needs
• Be able to use technology swiftly

Experience

• Prior experience in caregiving, home health, or related roles is preferred but not required; training will be provided
• Skills in cooking, meal preparation, and cleaning are highly desirable
• Experience working with senior or individuals with disabilities is a plus
• Demonstrated ability to teach or assist with educational activities is beneficial
• Compassionate attitude, patience, and excellent communication skills are essential for success in this role
• CPR is required

Pay: $21.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
