We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Childcare Provider to support the development and well-being of children in our home. Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor children's activities to ensure safety and engagement throughout the day
• Plan and implement age-appropriate educational and recreational activities that promote learning and development
• Assist children with daily routines such as feeding, diapering, dressing, and hygiene practices
• Foster positive behavior and social skills through guidance and encouragement
• Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children's progress, needs, and any concerns
• Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment conducive to learning and play
• Collaborate with team members to ensure consistent caregiving practices and program quality
• Assist with light household cleaning, laundry and meal preparation

Skills

• Prior experience working with children in classroom or care settings is highly desirable
• Knowledge of early childhood education principles and development milestones
• Experience working with children with disabilities or special needs is a plus
• Strong caregiving skills with patience, empathy, and excellent communication abilities
• Ability to create engaging educational activities tailored to various age groups
• Demonstrated ability to work effectively as part of a team in a dynamic environment

Hours of work:

Monday-Friday from 7-11 am

Occasional weekends

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 per week

Work Location: In person
