Job Summary:

In Process Quality Control Clerks are responsible for the efficient collection and maintenance of quality control data that may be collected during manufacturing and packaging activities. The responsibilities of the Quality Control Clerk include: collection and maintenance of in-process weight variation data during capsule manufacture; in-process verification of fill-volume during the package of liquids; measurement of in-process quality parameters during compounding activities; collect and maintain QC records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Withdraw representative samples from shipments of received materials (RM, PM, FPB, FP) in accordance with company SOPs.
  • Submit samples for analytical testing as prescribed by SOPs.
  • Maintain retained samples in designated room and retained sample inventories.
  • Maintain completed batch records.
  • Maintain all QC records:
  • Perform in-process QC checks during powder and liquid compounding.
  • Perform in-process QC checks during capsule manufacture and polish
  • Perform in-process QC checks during secondary packaging.
  • Participate in internal cGMP and safety audits. Ensure the timely completion of all preventive and corrective actions necessary to resolve any non-conformance issues that may have been highlighted as a result of the audits.

Minimum Requirements:

  • Degree in the scientific discipline or equivalent
  • Minimum 2 experience in the area of pharmaceutical quality assurance
  • Good knowledge of GMP
  • Ability to organize, communicate, and work with others in an effective manner
  • Working knowledge of basic computer systems and software applications

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $40,000.00-$45,000.00 per year

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree (preferred)

Experience:

  • QA/QC: 2 years (preferred)
