We offer a bright, modern work environment in an office building in the east end of Ottawa. The location offers excellent east-west highway access, and is also well situated for clients and staff located in the south end of Ottawa.

We are seeking to add an experienced tax preparer for personal tax season during March and April. Our hope is to also establish a relationship where contract work could be offered in future tax seasons.

Duties/Responsibilities would include:

• Preparation of personal income tax returns, including business and rental statements
• Review and confirm tax assessments and reassessments

Candidates should possess the following:

• Well organized and able to manage multiple client tax returns concurrently
• Ability to work independently or with limited supervision
• Strong communication skills
• Team oriented outlook
• Comfort with use of technology and tools

Ideal candidates should have at least one year of personal tax preparation experience.

Job Type: Seasonal

Contract length: 2 months

Pay: $20.00-$25.00 per hour

• Secondary School (required)

Experience:

• Personal tax: 1 year (preferred)

Ability to Relocate:

• Ottawa, ON K1G 5A2: Relocate before starting work (required)
