Are you ready to take the wheel? Sandvik’s Indirect Procurement team in Finland is looking for a new leader! As part of our global network of procurement professionals, you’ll join a dynamic, decentralized team that’s all about collaboration, innovation, and making a real impact. If you’re passionate about sourcing, strategy, and building great relationships, this could be your next adventure. The role is full-time, permanent and located in Tampere or Turku, Finland.
What You’ll Do
  • Optimize and Innovate: Lead the charge in optimizing spend, ensuring supply continuity, and driving value across all indirect categories.
  • Strategic Leadership: Guide your team to develop and implement smart strategies and processes, building a responsible and cost-efficient supplier base.
  • Empower and Educate: Support your team’s success and help stakeholders become procurement pros by boosting their knowledge of policies, processes, and tools.
  • Deliver Value: Manage our supplier base for indirect materials and services, ensuring top-notch quality, delivery, cost efficiency, sustainability, risk management, and compliance for Sandvik’s Finnish business units.
What We’re Looking For
  • Education & Experience: You’ve got a Bachelor’s or Master’s in Sourcing, Marketing, Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or a related field, plus several years of hands-on leadership experience.
  • Procurement Pro: Strong knowledge of strategic procurement and supplier relations is a big plus.
  • People Person: You’re a natural collaborator, skilled at building strong relationships both inside and outside the company.
  • Financial & Legal Savvy: Solid understanding of finance fundamentals and contract law.
  • Language Skills: You communicate fluently in Finnish and English – both are essential.
