Description:
The Role

The Individual Giving Coordinator is key to the growth of Guide Dog Victoria’s donor base by supporting and implementing Guide Dogs Victoria’s new donor acquisition strategy for regular giving and single giving.

Reporting to the Fundraising Manager, you will support the acquisition and retention of regular givers and single cash donors through omni-channel fundraising campaigns including direct mail, telemarketing, digital, email, SMS, and events.

The Individual Giving Coordinator will manage day to day relationships with external suppliers and internal stakeholders to ensure campaigns are delivered on time, on budget, and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

  • Managing schedules, creative briefing and delivery, data briefs, and reporting of performance, and day-to-day operational support.
  • Campaign reporting, tracking and reporting of expenses and invoices, coordinating the declines recovery process.
  • Launch and manager new donor journeys and sending donor welcome pack and surveys.
  • Implement and monitor new RG donor acquisition campaigns (RG 2 step)
  • Work with suppliers and creative teams to deliver fundraising campaigns.
  • Support and guide other parts of the fundraising team with direct response and digital campaigns.
  • Optimise direct mail and digital creative to increase donors and donations.
  • Manage A/B testing of campaigns.
This role will also join the wider fundraising team in supporting integrated campaigns like International Guide Dog Day and other key events.

Skills and Experiences:
Knowledge, Skills and Experience

  • 2+ years of experience in not-for-profit fundraising, with a focus on individual giving and/or regular giving.
  • Strong understanding of donor lifecycle and best practices in donor stewardship.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with donor databases/CRMs (Salesforce desirable).
  • Data-driven mindset with attention to detail and strong organisational skills.
  • Passion for mission-driven work and the ability to inspire others.
Microsoft user including, word, excel, and PowerPoint
