Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Industrial Chemical and Mechanical Cleaning technician to join our team. Industrial Mechanics and Process Technicians is a Plus for this position. The Team Leader will be responsible for performing Industrial Chemical & Mechanical Cleaning Procedures at various locations in Puerto Rico including but not limited to Pharmaceuticals, Food and Beverage Industry, Oil and Gas Industry, Hospitals, among others. Some of the industrial equipment to be cleaned includes but not limited to: Stainless Steel Process Equipment, Centrifugal Chillers, Fire and Water Tube Boilers, Storage Tanks and Transfer Piping.

Duties

• Be capable of performing Chemical Cleaning procedures following Written Instructions.
• Be capable of performing Mechanical Cleaning procedures following Written Instructions.
• Follow all OSHA 29CFR1910 General Industry guidelines for General Industrial Safety.
• Conduct industrial cleaning in accordance with established protocols
• Clean and maintain Company Property and Equipment.
• Ensure cleanliness in medical production and food production environments
• Execute cleaning duties in food processing facilities
• Document all Daily Activities properly and submit them to company email on time and as requested.

Skills

• Proficiency in industrial cleaning techniques
• Knowledge of chemical cleaning, mechanical cleaning, and sanitization procedures
• Experience with Boilers, Chillers and Stainless-Steel Production Equipment is a plus
• Ability to work effectively in warehouse settings
• Familiarity with Medical, Food and Beverage production environments
• Strong understanding of commercial cleaning practices

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $16.50 per hour

Expected hours: 8 – 48 per week

Ability to commute/relocate:

• San German, PR 00683: Reliably commute or willing to relocate with an employer-provided relocation package (Preferred)

Education:

• Associate (Required)

Experience:

• Industrial Cleaning: 5 years (Required)

Language:

• Spanish (Required)
• English (Required)

License/Certification:

• OSHA 29CFR 30 Hours General (or Construction) Industry (Required)
• Licence Driver (Required)
• OSHA 30 Hours General Industry (or Construction Industry) (Required)
• OSHA Training (Required)

Security clearance:

• Confidential (Preferred)

Shift availability:

• Day Shift (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Required)
