Job Summary The Maintenance & Engineering Manager ensures the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of all casting equipment and facilities.
This role leads maintenance strategy and execution, including preventive (PM) and predictive maintenance (PdM), to maximize uptime and asset performance.
The position drives a culture of safety, reliability-centered maintenance (RCM), and continuous improvement while managing budgets, outages, KPIs, and team development in compliance with OSHA standards.
Key Responsibilities Lead and enforce EHS and OSHA compliance; promote a zero-incident safety culture Manage daily maintenance operations in coordination with production teams
Oversee PM/PdM programs, troubleshooting, repairs, and equipment reliability initiatives Implement and expand predictive maintenance technologies to improve uptime and reduce failures
Plan and execute plant outages, ensuring adherence to scope, schedule, and budget Develop and manage maintenance budgets; control costs and optimize spare parts inventory
Establish and track KPIs (e.g., uptime, MTBF, MTTR) to drive performance improvements Lead, coach, and develop engineers, technicians, and supervisors Utilize CMMS to plan, schedule,
and analyze maintenance activities Ensure compliance with safety programs including LOTO, PPE, machine guarding, and hazard communication
Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field (or equivalent hands-on experience) 8–10 years of maintenance/engineering experience in heavy industrial or manufacturing environments
Strong expertise in mechanical, electrical, and automation systems Experience with CMMS and reliability-centered maintenance (RCM) practices
Hands-on troubleshooting and root cause analysis (RCA) experience CMRP certification preferred Strong leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills
Proven ability to manage priorities, meet deadlines, and drive results Availability for off-hours support in critical situations
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: $140,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
