Job Duties/Responsibilities

Troubleshoot and repair general facility building and equipment. Compressors, Pneumatics, Lift Stations, Motors, Pumps, Basic Repairs with concrete, plumbing and Water Tanks, etc.

Electrical experience is a MUST

PLC experience a plus

Preventative maintenance, Pressure Washing, Painting

Weld (Stick, Mig, or Tig) and oxy-acetylene a plus

Use power tools & measuring devices proficiently

Operate tractor and implements

Install conduits and cable.

HVAC a plus

Basic to Intermediate Electrical work

Basic to Intermediate Plumbing skills

Strong mechanical aptitude

Able to test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures, using testing devices such as ohmmeters and voltmeters

• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on manufacturing equipment, including hydraulics, pneumatic systems, and electrical components.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic issues using schematics, technical manuals, and diagnostic tools such as ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Operate and maintain CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance history, and schedule future tasks.
• Conduct high voltage and low voltage electrical repairs safely in accordance with industry standards.
• Perform welding, HVAC/R repairs, and other fabrication tasks as needed for equipment upgrades or repairs.
• Assist in field service activities at various plant locations or customer sites to support equipment installation or troubleshooting.
• Maintain safety protocols during all maintenance activities, including working with high voltage systems and heavy machinery such as scissor lifts.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing failure patterns and recommending process enhancements for increased reliability.

Experience

• Proven industrial mechanic experience within a manufacturing facility environment.
• Strong electrical experience with knowledge of industrial electricians’ practices, schematics interpretation, and troubleshooting tools like ammeters and ohmmeters.
• Hands-on experience with hydraulics, HVAC/R systems, welding (including welding), and mechanical repairs.
• Experience operating heavy equipment such as scissor lifts safely in compliance with safety standards.
• Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance planning and record-keeping.
• Ability to read technical schematics, mechanical drawings, and system diagrams accurately.
• Excellent analysis skills to identify root causes of equipment failures quickly and efficiently.
• Previous field service experience working directly on customer sites or within a manufacturing setting is highly desirable.

Pay: $20.00 - $26.00 per hour
