About FLC:

Femern Link Contractors (FLC) is the joint venture responsible for the design and construction of the immersed tunnel, tunnel portals, and ramps. Our joint venture consists of nine international construction companies, each with individual experience in large infrastructure projects. Together, we are committed to delivering a state-of-the-art immersed tunnel, portals, and ramps, on time and safely, in a sustainable and ethical manner.

About the department:

For the Industrial Relations Department, we are looking for an Industrial Relations Coordinator . You will be part of a small, passionate team with two colleagues and work in close cooperation with HR, Payroll, Timekeeping and other internal stakeholders.The Industrial Relations team aims to secure and maintain the best possible relationship between FLC and industrial organizations, ensuring good employment conditions for our employees based on local legislation and contractual agreements. You will assist the Industrial Relations Manager in all aspects of the daily tasks.

Main tasks and responsibilities:
  • Assist in the development and agreement of conduct guidelines between FLC and the unions to avoid conflicts and ambiguities.
  • Help prepare guidelines for subcontractors.
  • Support liaising between the company and the unions, shop stewards, workers representatives, and employees.
  • Assist in the preparation of working time agreements, shift plans, and other local agreements.
  • Assist in interpreting collective and local agreements and advising project management.
  • Help, coordinate and review external audits on subcontractors' compliance with contracts and Danish labor conditions.
  • Assist in the training of colleagues on collective agreements and various labor law subjects.
  • Support in negotiating and closing local agreements.
  • Assist in representing FLC in case of conflicts.
  • Coordinate cooperation between Industrial Relations and Timekeeping
  • Coordinate cooperation with Access Control team
  • Assist with reporting
  • Support Industrial Relations Manager and the team with all task related to the department

You will report to the Industrial Relations Manager.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate is relations-oriented, well-organized, and capable of handling multiple priorities and stakeholders. You preferably, you have at least 1-3 years of experience in industrial relations, or a similar field, understanding of collective agreements and Danish employment law. Experience from an employers' association, trade union, or HR is preferable.

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Good communication and language skills in English and Danish.
  • Good interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
  • A flexible and positive attitude.
  • Strong analytic skills.

Our staff is expected to set themselves targets, achieve them independently, and take responsibility for their actions—irrespective of their position in the company.

HK rules applies. Pension, health insurance, and a lunch arrangement are available. Your workplace will be Rødby.
